Tomorrow’s  Concepts – Today

feature1 If corporate leaders are not prepared for the change, nor considers the appropriate management style that is required to manage transformation, then resistance may be formidable where change is the norm. “Change programs” fail in that they are seen as just that: “programs”. When “change” becomes a cliché then it becomes a constant; which presumably has an illusion of a start and a finish, but in reality, doesn’t address the long-term change in management style. As Dr. Peter Drucker said; “Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes … but no plans.”

Clearly understand that a rigid management style, a poorly thought out transformation process and implementation will always result in resistance, poor quality and increased costs. Transformation is always an organizational engagement. Linchpins such as Vision, Transparency, Strategies, periodic management communication, active Executive engagement and Commitment will help ensure progress. Management should recognize that all organizational levels will need to accept and embrace change for clear success. This successful execution is based on education and knowledge for your Corporate Culture, for it is the foundation of successful engagement and transformation.
